I don't know what you mean exactly by "intel corrupts X memory" but I sometimes experience image corruption (on screen) looking like damaged scan-lines for desktop wallpaper and images in firefox. Same artifact for mouse selection rectangle (transparent) on desktop.

I'm not able to use i810 driver as it's unable to set any mode. Native resolution is 1440x900.
