Comment 103 for bug 127101

It is OK for me to stay with the -intel driver but it wouldn't help to disable Compiz since it is mostly unrelated. I am using compiz all the time and since the mesa fix I haven't problem with crash without using xv except if I disable and enable Compiz on the fly. I guess that this dis/enabling fires on some dri or opengl port which results in the problem like xv.
Without starting xv and using Compiz it is no problem to switch to vt. At least I have tested it several times in a row.
I have the same problems without Compiz after using xv.
