Frank: Yes, I can get it to work fine with a custom xorg.conf (listed in the attachments area)
Martin-Éric: I deleted my xorg.conf for testing and updated to 2.11.9-3 but it still defaults to 1024x768 with the only other options being 800x600 and 640x480. So no luck there! Please let me know if you'd like any debug or other info.
