Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
When I'm doing a demanding CPU activity (ripping a CD, doing OCR, etc), the computer shuts itself down due to overheating (more than 99 C).
I've tried running sudo sensors-detect but no modules were loaded.
I've also tried booting with option "acpi.power_
I've also tried adding options radeon modeset=1 to /etc/modprobe.
Lastly, I updated my BIOS from the vendor's webpage, but it didn't help either.
This is more likely to happen while on the open-source ATI drivers.
