Severe slowdown in X acceleration and 3D crashes when trying to change viewing angles in Blender or similar apps are still abundant in final and recently updated Maverick Meerkat versions. Video card used is an ATI Radeon 8500LE that's supposed to be listed as the R200 chipset, but shows up as R100 in the log files.
