Just installed Edgy from CD on my acer ferrari. Screen black again, like Dapper, but this time appending my favorite fix to xorg.conf did not seem to work.
Option "MonitorLayout" "LVDS,CRT"
Option "MetaModes" "680x480,1680x1050"
