Yes, it does.

The output setup heuristics have been fixed so that we only attempt to light up
"unknown" outputs (ones that we only think are connected) if there are no
definitely-connected outputs. I have another fix pending that will try much
much harder to set up exactly the same mode on all outputs during initial
configuration.

This is about as far as you can punt the problem while still attempting to use
"clone" as a default policy. For Xorg 7.5 (probably F10) I hope to have enough
of the remaining bugs fixed that we can reasonably do right-of placement as the
default policy like a sensible display system.
