Thanks. Unfortunately I still can't see any possible causes of a freeze in those logs...

But I wonder if we can rule out Xorg. Please try selecting 'Ubuntu on Wayland' from the login screen, just before you enter your password. It's the button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
