im having a similar (but possibly unrelated) problem. im using ubuntu 12.04 and my touchpad works beautifully in firefox and chrome but in nautilus the vert and horiz scrolling is wayyy too fast. it seems somehow nautilus is getting touchpad settings from somewhere else other than synclient or xorg.conf. does anyone know which scrolling speed in nautilus is different to firefox and other apps?
