THIS IS NOT AN AMD64 SPECIFIC ISSUE! YOU CANNOT DISABLE THE TOUCHPAD EVEN ON AN IBM THINKPAD (PENTIUM 32-BIT) RUNNING AN i386 KERNEL!!!
