I am having the same issue. It worked fine before I upgraded, now I am running 10.10 and it doesn't work anymore.

I am generally trying to copy from gnome-terminal and paste into either another terminal, or into a windows app via RDP. This all worked before the upgrade.

Not really sure what info to add to this, I looked for an X config of some sort like the ones I used to have to edit before I used Ubuntu but, the X display doesn't seem to have a config that I can find anymore.
