Funny, I can do it with other keys, too! :-)

I'm on a QWERTZ keyboard:

The both keys right beside the 'L':

Perhaps someone can reproduce this by setting his keyboard to non-US?
Laptop is a hp Compaq 8510w with the latest (updated this week) ubuntu Lucid version.
