2015-10-28 20:39:31 Aren Cambre summary windows abruptly scroll to top when mouse wheel rapidly moved down window contents scroll up when mouse wheel rapidly scrolled down
2015-10-28 20:41:25 Aren Cambre description After upgrading from 15.04 to 15.10, if I slowly scroll down with the mouse wheel, the content scrolls down correctly. If I rapidly scroll down, the window's content scrolls abruptly to the very top. I could reproduce this in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and LibreOffice Writer. If I rapidly scroll down, the window's content scrolls up a few lines in a "rebound" after the scrolling down is completed. It's enough so that if I start with the content scrolled all the way up, the usual view when you open a new web page or document, if I rapidly scroll down with the mouse wheel, the content scrolls down but then jumps all the way back up.
