hmm... I think there needs to be a connector to the hardware DB that people post fixes for individual laptops. Then you can choose which laptop you have and download all the fixes.

We could have trusted community hardware testers for the fixes and when you first boot up it will tell you that you are running a laptop and to click here to see if there are any enhancements for your laptop.
