xscreensaver won't unlock the screen even with correct password

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xscreensaver

After trying several times, xscreensaver won't unlock the screen. I'm typing the correct password because when going to the console I was logged in right away. I have the same problem on another machine using slock. Must be a problem with some authentication library...
