does not allow entering password after lock

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xscreensaver

If I click the lock icon, the screen will lock, but not allow me to enter the password unless I hit CTRL-ALT-F[1-6]. It then jumps me back to the GDM display and I can enter my password.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

This bug is present in Xubuntu 10.04 also.
