to refuse to lock the screen when the user's password is locked, but since it
uses PAM, I don't think this is feasible.
Perhaps the next best thing would be to disable screen locking on the live CD.
This is something which should be discussed on the ubuntu-devel mailing list in
order to open the discussion to a wider audience.
