Actually that time I didn't :-O . But I just tried it commenting out the mode lines with the Nvidia (Proprietary) driver. Worked like a charm automatically come up at 1900x1200 . Acutally this is how Fedora Core does there X configurations. They list no mode lines for resolution and just read off the edid by default. I have done this with Fedora Core 6 in the past. I have my xorg.conf I'm using now attached.
