Bug Description
Steps to repeat:
sudo apt-get install gnome-session-
sudo apt-get install xrdp
echo "gnome-session --session=
sudo /etc/init.d/xrdp restart
Expected results:
A working Gnome session.
Actual results:
Successful logon followed by grey screen.

Also try
sudo apt-get install xfce4
echo xfce4-session >~/.xsession
sudo service xrdp restart
then access from a Windows machine. This gives the xfce but this has severe key mapping problems.

This has been tested running on several machines with different hardware.
I have multiple test rigs and am willing to test a patch.
