When I restart the whole system 2 or 3 times I get the normal condition back and the performance and cpu issue is gone.
I tried lsmod and modprobe in both situations (performance is horribly bad as I am wirting...)
both results in

modprobe does nothing.
The system is a notebook with an onboard intel graphics card.
