It looks like this issue is in progress upstream, although the bug has not received an update in about a year.

Thanks for collecting the backtraces; unfortunately like you mentioned at the start, the games are exiting with an error code, not an actual crash, so it doesn't look like we can debug this easily. So there's not much we can do on this except wait for a fix from upstream.

I browsed through the recent changes to the -r128 we have on jaunty, but didn't see any changes that looked like they'd fix this issue.
