The same here with ATI Radeon 9200 PRO card and Nokia 446Xpro monitor. The display is even set perhaps to Liquid crystal mode when booting. The cursor disappears too. When corrected (difficult to resolve) by the menu: Screens and graphics, it forgets it in the next boot.
