solution

-edit the file /etc/usplash.conf
-change the numbers for your screen resolution
-then you make update de initrd.image with this comand "sudo update-initramfs -u"
-probe the splash in a terminal "sudo usplash -c"
-then comeback to desktop "ctrl+alt+F7"
-reboot

i have the presario m2000, ati radeon xpress 200m
its works....!!!
