Hi Dean, thanks for reporting this bug.

The nvidia driver works okay on my gutsy test system (xserver 1.3, NVS 285), however we did run into an fglrx issue (see bug 115188), so perhaps there is an incompatibility.

Can you describe in more detail what is causing the nvidia driver to not work for you? Please attach your xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log files when trying to load nvidia.
