Hmm, this is a bit confusing.

In the original bug report you mentioned that you have an nvidia card, yet all of your files show a radeon card, no evidence any nvidia card is present. I think your maverick logs aren't helping explain the situation.

I'm going to drop the oneiric tag, this doesn't appear to be an actionable bug after all. It'll need to be re-tested against oneiric, and/or better explanation about the configuration inconsistency provided.
