1) I still don't get it whether it's a xorg, driver or DE problem, or all of the above. That is when your fix lands in Natty+1 would it automatically work for Gnome 2, XFCE and whatever, or only in those DEs that support it etc.?

2) In the meantime, is xcursorclamp packaged for Ubuntu?
