I don't think that this issue is confined to nvidia graphics as you have marked it. Olivier has said it occurs on ATI and I am having the problem on Intel. If it is, in fact, related to bug #262605, then I suspect the bug is in the DRM/DRI (not sure which terminology is proper her) infrastructure, possibly in-kernel, or the X interface to it. An ioctl is being called repeatedly and being interrupted. (-EINTR).
