Interesting. Note that on an AGP system, there should only be AGP (as opposed to
PCI) bus master transfers, and the AGP aperture is mapped uncacheable by the
CPU, so the given reason for bus mastering to prevent C3 doesn't apply
technically. You may want to inquire with the kernel ACPI folks whether there's
a way for these circumstances to be taken into consideration.
