Stephan Fabel, could you please advise to all of the following:

1) Has the issue been tested with using the latest DisplayLink driver (now 5.2.14)?

2) To see if this is already resolved in Ubuntu, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?

3) Would the following WORKAROUND work with your environment following https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1724307/comments/24 ?
