Bug Description

having the .Xmodmap file in the user home directory and load it on startup works fine except that the 3rd + 4th layer of the keysym 'n' won't work. pressing AltGr+n just gives back an 'n'. all other keys work (except to another problem i post in another bug report).
see problem 1 in the attachement.

I can confirm this bug. Additionally, AltGr + r also doesnt work here.

This is the bash script i made for remapping:

# brackets
xmodmap -e "keycode 25 = comma semicolon w W bracketleft bracketleft bracketleft bracketleft"
xmodmap -e "keycode 26 = period colon e E bracketright bracketright bracketright bracketright"

# curly brackets
xmodmap -e "keycode 24 = udiaeresis Udiaeresis q Q braceleft braceleft braceleft braceleft"
xmodmap -e "keycode 27 = p P r R braceright braceright braceright braceright" # doesnt work O_o

# confirm bugreport
xmodmap -e "keycode 57 = b B n N braceright braceright braceright braceright"

Little update: When i switch to secondary layout (german qwertz) all mappings are working just fine. So this happens only when i use the german dvorak layout (havent tested other layouts).
And im on Jaunty amd64 btw.

keycode 32 = o O o O oacute Oacute

Just to add that
 # xmodmap -pke
shows these assignments as having been made successfully.

Thanks for the report. Have you seen this bug in Jaunty (9.04)? If you have, we can forward both of this and bug 321190 upstream at bugs.xfree86.org

Sorry, they are not relevant to each other, but it was the same reporter (fabb). I was just letting him know that I was aware of his two bug reports and would file two separate reports upstream.

Just tried it under Jaunty (on another PC), works fine there, yay! So it seems to have been fixed already (both bugs).
