Bug Description

Would it be possible to package a more recent version (at least 1.07)? According to the rtorrent wiki page this version includes 64-bit support, which would fix bug 173850 in the current package of rtorrent.

This bug is more important than "Wishlist" - there are bugs in xmlrpc-c <1.07, and amd64 is only available in 1.07 and above.

The package version listed for intrepid is still below 1.07. WIll this be updated by the time 8.10 comes out (and back-ported) so 64-bit users are no longer affected by the bug?

So Intrepid still only has version 1.06, has this bug been abandoned?

version 1.16.07-1 will be auto synced during the Karmic cycle, unless someone else would like to jump in and submit an FFe for jaunty.

Lets hope xmlrpc-c makes it from Debian experimental into unstable in time to be synced up into Lucid.. still waiting till https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173850 is unblocked. Anyway, thank you for keeping an eye on this one.

Applogies again. I was doing patch review and stumbled on this bug because
someone added a patch tag. Fixed the report to Triaged. Any reason why
you've changed to Confirmed instead?
