https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xmlcopyeditor/+bug/967087 describes how to fix this. Please rebuild the package with debug info to fix this. Please offer that version as a temporary fix from Ubuntu repositories. Then fix the real bug and offer a final fix also via Ubuntu repositories please.
