Comment 8 for bug 355721

I don't believe that this bug is valid. My read of the scripts in Xsession.d is that .xsessionrc will be sourced no matter what session you choose, not .xsession or .xinitrc.

I don't know why your .xinitrc was being sourced in previous releases, because the scripts look the same to me, at least back through Hardy. However, it should work if you rename .xinitrc to .xessionrc, I think.
