Yeah, the bug did not exist in 7.10, its new to hardy and seems to afflict
all (or atleast lots of) Neomagic 256 series graphics chips. I think we need
to get the attention of a driver / graphics guru if we are going to get this
fixed.
I'd also be interested to hear if this also affects other distros as a
result of an upstream issue, of if its a xubuntu spescific package issue.
