Comment 26 for bug 351293

Forget the comment about the maroon window frame, my IT buddy chose it.
More system info: 500Mhz Geode LX, 1Gb RAM, 32Mb Frame Buffer setting.

Now we have re-installed from scratch. First login worked fine, except that the
system required a long minute to clear the light blue screen and achieve the desktop.
Seems way too long.

This time taking no updates, we simply logged out and back in.
Menu bars appear, but desktop is blue no icons. 2nd log out/in, same.
Rebooting produces the same result.
