The two new options here can be found on the command line:

  --lock-on-lid Lock the screen on lid close
  --no-lock-on-lid Do not lock the screen on lid close

and in dconf-editor under apps.light-locker

"lock-on-lid"

Please provide additional feedback so we can finally resolve this bug.
