Hi, this is a 'me too'.

Just burnt and tested the official xubuntu feisty livecd. No xfce4-panel was visible, desktop icons were there however. Manually launching, `xfce4-panel` worked and the panel came up as expected.

This occured on a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop.
