The thing is people solve Launchpad Ubuntu bugs all the time. The problem is the managers of the distro. The other problem is how hard it is to get a fix committed.
This is not the only example of where I have done the pro-active thing and raised a bug, I am stopping reports of any bugs for Ubuntu. It simply is not worth the effort.
Ubuntu has proved to be a political project and not an active one. It is far from Linux for human beings, that it claims. What a joke. Congratulations Ubuntu you have proven to be like a company full of lies and marketing bullshite.
