the EAP-FAST protocol is supported by wpasupplicant but it appears the package isn't built with it enabled. looking in the ubuntu diff file, it looks like the reason is that this adds a dependancy on openssl since openssl needs to be patched to support this. is that why this isn't currently enabled?
