Can I suggest this be documented in the release notes, at least the issue, but maybe even including the workaround? FWIW, I see now the file suggested in the workaround above (/usr/lib/ssl/openssl.cnf) is a link to /etc/ssl/openssl.cnf, so I think it shouldn't get overwritten as I thought it might.

Thanks for finding the Fedora info. I had just wondered about other distros. Looks like the other bug they link to is a dupe of this? https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ network- manager/ +bug/1961558
