Finally some very good news indeed.
Now a question from a non-programmer and Linux -Wannabe:

How does one apply this patch to an existing 6.10 installation?

I know the very basics of Unix/Linux but my 'Unix for Dummies' says nothing about applying a patch and debdiffs!
