Sure what a crime from Scott to offer both, the 1.0 and the dev release.

And the stupid user who simply want their sound to work are just annoying.

I'm so happy that there are biased stubborn devs who take care for the needs of professional users.

I'm sorry, I just try to reflect what I found in this message. I tried to keep quiet for some time now but it's very hard when you read the comments here.

Average users don't have any problems with the latency of a good configured pulse audio.

Professional users who need very low latency need JACK.

To ask 90% of the unexperienced user to deeply manipulate their system to have sound work in order to make it easier for a handful "professionals" sounds very wise to me.

There exists a dev who is willing and able to deliver a solution but instead of a welcome he earns only prejudice.
