wicd needs authorization on startup

Binary package hint: wicd

I installed a bunch of updates and on reboot I get a dialog saying "wicd needs permissions to access the network interface" or some such... I don't think this was here before, or at least should be..

The updates contained a bunch of avcodec updates, a bunch of java updates, desktop-file-utils, shared-mime-info and some libc.-bin configuration stuff. The libc seems suspicious, so I'm including the lines
