OK, I can reproduce the issue described in comment #6 indeed.

I’m seeing one major difference: when clicking the download button directly, the name of the file being downloaded is "Psalm23.txt", whereas with right-click and "save link", the file name is "Psalm23.txt?dl=1".

That "dl=1" parameter seems to make a whole difference.
