I only have a Jaunty Alpha Live-CD to test and it definitely works (also Inkscape's calligraphy tool) with:

- wacom-tools/xserver-xorg-input-wacom 1:0.8.2.2-0ubuntu2
- kernel 2.6.28-4.9
