So, I'm afraid I can't reliably trigger the 'random pixmaps from other
windows being merged into the terminal', but I can reliably reproduce
corruption by running 'man ld', hitting '>' to skip to the end and
then holding down 'w' until I reach the top of the manpage. When I
hit the top, the manpage is inevitably garbled by terminal corruption.
