Thanks for your suggestion, however I managed to compile 0.9.0 after doing "apt-get build-dep vlc" and adding a few other packages.

I have experienced the exact same issues as you described.
The bug seems to be fixed, but the "Open Directory" is broken.
That is the very feature I need, as i want to test ISO images after I create them with DeVeDe.

Is there another Program that can Open ISO images (or directories) as DVD's?
