Since vlc 3.0.4, it is not possible in fullscreen to use keyboard to control anything while playing a movie once you reveal by moving the mouse the vlc window controls (bottom).
Steps to reproduce :
1)Launch a movie in fulscreen
2)move your mouse to make the vlc window controls appearing
3)Press "Space" to pause the movie or "Escape" to exit from fullscreen
Expected results : The movie is now paused if you press "Space" or the movie is not shown in fullscreen if you press "Escape".
Actual results : Nothing happens
I observed the same behaviour on a debian system I've been trying with mate and vlc 3.0.4, 3.0.5, 3.0.6. Downgrading to vlc 3.0.3 make the bug disappear.
Nevertheless, if compiz is activated this bug doesn't occurs. Observed with a intel graphic card system but also with nvidia and radeon. |
