@ruben-silvarocha: there never was a virtualbox package in the guest, only the listed guest packages. While I tried various variants (default packages in guest, manual install from mounted virtualbox-guest-additions-iso from host, ppa packages), all of the packages were removed using 'apt-get purge' before trying new ones.
