Prior to VirtualBox 4.0 there was two VirtualBox versions:
- VirtualBox OSE _ open-source edition (licensed under GPL),
- VirtualBox PUEL _ Personal Use and Evaluation License edition http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/VirtualBox_PUEL
With VirtualBox 4.0 there was a move:
- VirtualBox OSE --> VirtualBox (still licensed under GPL),
- VirtualBox PUEL --> is build as extension on VirtualBox product
So there is no reason to name a package (and PPA) as virtualbox-ose. The package should be renamed to point to actual-official name. http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Editions
Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose
